About Touch of Health
Massage Therapy

Touch of Health is the private practice of Roberta Courtney.   Roberta has the National Certification in Therapeutic Massage (NCTM).  She received her training and certification at Touchstone Healing Arts Massage School in Burlington, VT (www.touchstonehealingarts.com).  Touch of Health embodies her beliefs of the power of touch and its healthy benefits.

Roberta is a member of the Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals (www.abmp.com).  She receives 50 hours of continuing education courses including Ethic Practices every 4 years to keep her massage credentials.  She is also on the board of Skillshare, a non profit organization where people make exchanges in a non monetary system. (www.skillsharenetwork.org)  As a volunteer for another program called Senior Net, Roberta coaches seniors who are taking classes to learn computer skills.  The local chapter just earned a national recognition for their outstanding program.

Working at the Therapy Center in Longmont, CO has given Roberta a lot of experience with clients who have had work related injuries such as a broken neck, repetitive motion activities, upper body trauma from car accidents etc.  Post operative therapy has also been a big part of her experience.  She enjoys working with these clients to help them achieve a more normal, pain free life.  “Seeing clients move with greater ease and with less pain is such great satisfaction.  I hope I can continue to help people with their physical maladies and give them relief from pain.”

Roberta has a background in Early Childhood Education and taught preschool for 25 years.  She has taught piano since 1972 and before moving to Colorado worked at Snow Farm Winery where she is a part owner.  Roberta loves meeting people and helping them on their life’s journey.
